Nerja is a Malaga town located in the eastern end of the province, on the coast, bordering Granada. It is a tourist town with a large foreign population, mainly English, and about 20,000 inhabitants. It borders Almuñecar to the east; Torrox to the west; Frigiliana to the north and the Mediterranean Sea to the south.



Nerja is a tourist town integrated in the Axarquia region that has several attractions, among them we highlight the famous caves of Nerja, which are internationally known and have a great historical value; the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort, which is only an hour and a half away and we must also emphasize that Nerja is only an hour away from Malaga International Airport, which makes this place a destination with very easy access



Nerja is also sun and beach, with a coastline that is not overcrowded as the Western Costa del Sol, and has urban beaches such as Burriana or El Playazo or nudist beaches like Las Alberquillas; Nerja is culture, with its caves visited by thousands and thousands of tourists and interested in caving every year; nerja is history with the Balcon de Europa, a place of unforgettable views that was baptized by King Alfonso XII in 1885; Nerja is also memories, since in this town the famous Spanish series Verano Azul was filmed;

Temperatures in Nerja range during the day from 14 degrees in winter to 30 degrees in summer, while at night the temperature ranges from 7 degrees in winter to 21 degrees in summer. These are pleasant average temperatures that make this place a corner with a charming and mild meteorology. November and January are the two rainiest months, while in months like June, July or August the rain is usually conspicuous by its absence. For lovers of water activities, the water temperature in Nerja is the same as its climate, it varies little and moves in not extreme figures. In January, the water temperature can be around 14 degrees Celsius normally, while in summer it rises to 20 or 21 degrees Celsius.
